Every day repeating
We wake (from dreams of freedom)
We rise
Then regret waking
We bathe (in polluted water)
We brush
Then we apply junk to our faces in one form or another
We hunt (in the fridge)
We eat
Then depart our dens and trundle out to meet the masses
We arrive (at work)
We chatter
Then watch the clock as it marches slowly
We dine (on processed food)
We return to the desk
Then wait out those last moments until it’s *acceptable* to leave
We drink (poison)
We dance
Then head home to rest
We repeat (a cycle of fiscal enslavement)
We are automatons
Then we retire, replaced by better models.
